Big Brother 2012: Becky Hannon passes her secret mission, but has it cost her Deana’s friendship?!

Yesterday, Day 6, the Big Brother housemates were gathered on the sofas to hear all about Becky’s secret mission, which was of course to win immunity from this week’s nominations by having one or more of her fellow housemates name her as their favourite contestant.

All the housemates, Becky included, were given a small board and a pen to write down the name of their favourite housemate…

Becky wrote ‘Deana’, and somewhat inevitably, Deana did indeed name Becky as her favourite housemate.

So, Becky won immunity from this week’s nominations, but has her victory cost her her budding friendship with Deana?

Well, it seems likely that it has, since after the news of Becky’s secret task became known, Deana burst into tears, declared she wanted to leave and had to be consoled by Shievonne as she wept, thinking she’d been hoodwinked by Becky and believing that Becky had only been so friendly to her in order to pass her mission.

Becky immediately rushed to Deana’s side to insist that wasn’t the case, and that she really did like her and truly did – and does – want to be her friend, but though Deana was somewhat consoled, she’s not likely to trust Becky now. Click here to watch a video of that little drama.

And somewhat ironically, later in the day Deana turned to Lydia – who is the biggest house tactician so far this year, with a complete disregard for who she steps on and bitches about, as long as it’s behind their backs of course – for a shoulder to cry on, bemoaning the fact that she can trust nobody…

Think of Deana as Little Red Riding Hood and Lydia as that wolf in granny’s clothes.

But getting back to Becky, and in today’s Daily Star, two of the wannabes that Bit on the Side host Jamie East chose to compete to be Wildcard entrants have claimed that Becky is faking her brash and OTT persona.

The paper reports that John Adby, of twins John and Edward Adby, who call themselves The Real Jedward, said, “Becky is an actress Everything she does is an act.

“She and her boyfriend rowed in front of producers because he suddenly said he’d seen other women.

“She also sat burping the alphabet. It’s all stunts.”

Edward added, “We would have been the real deal.”

But of course, Becky really is an actress! She’s had a small role in Channel 4 comedy Shameless and is currently a student at drama college.

What do you think of Becky? Do you reckon it’s all an act, or is she really just that in-your-face loud and proud?
