Big Brother 2012 Day 9 News: Conor’s new ‘do, Chris’s new woman? And Luke S’s bromance with Adam
As we reported earlier, yesterday Day 9, saw the housemates almost deliriously happy to hear they’d passed this week’s shopping task and have therefore earned a luxury shopping budget.
I cannot wait to see how they tackle the shopping list. I’m fully expecting flying fur, tears, tantrums and anger, and that’s just Chris. We’ve yet to see how everyone else will cope with the arduous task of spending their dosh.
However, yesterday we also reported that Scott Mason had received the sad news that a loved one had died. Scott left the BB compound for around 90 minutes when he was told the news, but he chose to then return.
It remains to be seen if he’ll ask Big Brother if he can attend the funeral of whoever passed away, but we will of course keep you posted on that…
But in happier news, yesterday saw a goodly deal of hairdressing as BB provided various products including hair dye. I wonder what brand of hair dye it would have been? It certainly seemed to make them all XXL in the ‘do department. Sniggers.
Click here to watch a clip, and as you’ll see, Conor chose to go with a purple coiffure. Caroline had the ends of her hair – those that aren’t split beyond redemption anyway, so that’s about three strands – dyed purple too. As you do.
Apropos of Caroline, she and Chris went on a date last night, prompting much speculation as to what would be their romance name. Suggestions included Chrisoline, but I have to say, I prefer Caroch. That sounds like a peaceful welsh valley, whereas Chrisoline sounds like drain cleaner or industrial strength fuel.
O and just apropos of romance names, it seems Ashleigh and Luke S have been termed as “Team Lush.” I absolutely HATE the word ‘lush’. I don’t have a clue as to why it irks me so badly, but it does. I feel the same about the word ‘tummy’. Grr.
Anywho, back to Caroch, it of course wasn’t a real date, given that Caroline would most likely not p**s on Chris if he was on fire, such is her dislike of him, but they did enjoy their respective pizzas, so that will have made Chris happy. Click here to see their ‘date’.
Staying on the subject of Chris, Becky has also revealed the depth of her dislike of him, and that was fuelled when Becky thought Chris and Arron were being bitchy while they were in the hot tob. Click here to see what happened.
Our final look at Day 9 news is the budding bromance between Luke S and his idol, Adam.
The pair have done a fair bit of talking together over the last couple of days, with Luke being in awe of pretty much everything Adam says, and last night was no different as all it took for Luke to leap into action was for Adam to say the bedroom was untidy.
Not on Luke S’s watch apparently as he went into something of a frenzy and pointed out the worst anti-tidy offenders. However, while busying himself, he took the time to ask Adam who he wants to see go on Friday.
Adam said, “Chris, I think that’s well-known.”
A rueful Luke apologetically replied, “I don’t know why I even asked the question.”
Adam, keen on having his every word absorbed like aural moisturizer, added, “He doesn’t really do anything.
“Yesterday, he was on the line so he picked up a trash bag and collected some cans. That was cool…
“But otherwise, to the group as a whole, which is how I’m looking at it, he doesn’t really contribute anything.”
Do you agree with Adam or would you prefer to see Arron offski tomorrow?
