Big Brother 2012: Now Arron Lowe’s gone, are we going to end up with a house full of dullards?!
I am absolutely gutted that Arron Lowe left the Big Brother house last night, because there’s about 99% of the show’s drama gone right there…
And I’m even more annoyed that I suspect it was Conor McIntyre’s “haters” who brought it about.
BB’s official website and dozens of other online forums – including social networking sites – were bombarded with people making pleas to get Conor out – by voting to save Becky and Deana - over his now infamous Deana rant, and in doing so, they’ve ensured that Deana and Becky not only stayed in, but were top two in the Vote to Save.
Now, I have to stress, while I have nothing against either Deana or Becky, I fail to see how either lady is even remotely entertaining in any situation other than when they were involved in a row with Arron…
Think about it; the only time we’ve seen either Deana or Becky on the highlights shows for the last couple of weeks is when Arron’s pi**ed them off. Other than that, they’re briefly shown either eating (Becky) or complaining about eating too much (Deana) or doing their hair…
O woopee, that’s going to be fun to watch from now on then.
And of course, Conor’s haters didn’t oust him, and instead, Arron’s out almost by default. It concerns me greatly that we’re going to end up with a house full of dullards because we’re voting out the biggest personalities…
Do we really want to only see Scott mincing around with his nose firmly wedged in Becky’s sphincter for the next few weeks? And is it really massively entertaining to watch Deana eating raw carrots and doing some gentle jogging round the garden?
I really hope that for what remains of the show, voters will use some sense and vote to save people who are actually fun to watch, even if they’re not likeable or get on our nerves, because I fear we’re looking at the business end of another Cameron Stout year otherwise, and nobody wants that surely?
I just hope and pray that BB has some kind of twist in store which could see some of the evicted housemates going back in; namely, Benedict and Arron.
Are you worried the show – which has been one of the best so far – is going to end up being über boring?
