Boy George has claimed that reality TV star Katie Price is much nicer than people think.

The ‘Amazing Grace’ singer told Now:

“I’ve met Katie a few times, She’s been to my house and I find her sweet as hell. She’s not a nasty person.”

He added: “She doesn’t always do herself justice on TV. But I think as a person she’s actually quite sweet and I don’t understand why people hate her.”

George has previously stood up for Katie’s husband Alex Reid.
