BOYS AND GIRLS ALONE

Many people worry that modern society is making our children grow up too quickly, while others are convinced we have created a generation unable to look after themselves. What if there was a world without parents, a safe environment where children could take all the decisions? Now, in a bold and ambitious new four-part documentary series, ten boys and ten girls aged between eight and 11 years old are being given the chance to experience life without mum and dad for two weeks. Living in separate villages, they will create their own mini-societies and decide everything about how they live.

i would just love 2 say that mathew is such a lovely boy hes so thoughtful and careing i would be proud if my son turned out 2 be like him his mother should be proud he has a big heart and that will get him far in life.
I’m Cool with this; i think it’s a very good idea, It’s interesting to see how young children cope with complete ndependence.
But it’s not Exploiting children, and it’s 100% Safe, If you actually listened, you’d know that there were people supervising every minute of the Twpo weeks and they step in immediately if there’s a Safety risk!
By placing black boys in a house alongside white girls channel 4 is promoting unnatural unions, and corrupting these young children.
OMG I hope you’re joking or trying to get a reaction!!!
Thankyou!! AWESOME Experiment
I found them all very amazing to watch, their reactions, their decisions, they all had different ways of dealing with the situation, and i think it gave a very diverse reflection of society in its innocence
I very much enjoyed it thank you C4
Also to the lady who said home schooled children end up self centered and socially stunted… ha ha ha ha ha ha you make me laugh
i know at least 15 home schooled kids who are very well socialized, due to several, meetings a week for educational activities or just play, so they have every ability to interact and function in society. Also as they spend so much more time with their parents rather than being shunted off to spend the day with people who care a lot less about them, At home they have secure, loving and nurtured supervision and the freedom to develop in ways that are almost impossible in a school environment. My little girl is nearly 10 and she learns to cook, sew paint, play tennis, ice skate, read, write do maths… etc.. and can type at a fast rate due to free access to computer anytime she wants, she has gained so much in her 3 years of home education, and it was the best thing that i could have done for her… its a very positive choice. Im a single parent also so i am on benefits and you can choose to see that as sponging.. but imo its money well spent, as she is growing up to be a balanced and happy human being, who acts with love and kindness and will be an asset to society in adult years which if we are honest is what we need in the future.. balanced people with compassion and understanding.. for a happier world..!! peace
anyway im done biggin up the home ed
just had to have my say
Loved the prog thanks for all the effort guys
and well done to the kids!
bet you are all glad to be home
Great responses to this show! Really read with interest…My Wife and I really enjoyed all 4 Episodes, William was a delight, and what a hero!.
Great Comments Adam Powell totally agree with you.
Anyone else paying close attention to the PARENTS in this programme??
Truth be told I think the show is more about THEM. A child, although entitled to make/learn from mistakes is also their piece of clay and grows in their image……We were’nt surprised to see that the parents were a bit F’ed up when their children were acting up…..really informative………Oh and Francis Troy!…what a Fuck Nut you are!…there’s us talking about a programme where children need to show maturity and you sit on your fat ugly ass making silly racist comments like that!….you think you’d have better things to than leave dumb ass comments …..i’m guessing you needed to take a break from wearing your mothers clothes and masterbating into your own feces!…..you Dick!
I am 13 and i think this is brilliant, i really want to go on the show if there is a second series for my age group
I have allways wanted to be on the program sinse day 1
I wish somebody would make my dream come true
i am 12 and i live in newcastle
To be honest I cannot see what people are complaining about. If you visited any school playground you would see exactly the same type of things except without the chaperones. For example fights did start and in a school environment they would have reached a resolution, whereas in this programme they did not and allowed the weaker, more whiny little kids to get their own way. That led to power struggles as no-one could assert dominance the way children normally do.
If anything the show itself is pretty tame.
I really hope there is another series that includes my age
group of 13 and I get in i imagine it would be really fun and
I would befreind all the younger kids and then when the time
is right I would unleash them upon the world and mould it
into my hands as my reign of terror begins.
