Dancing Lothario, Brendan Cole has been chosen to front a new BBC reality TV show called, I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

In the show, Brendan will be scouring the UK for a female dance partner who will dance with him in the upcoming international pro-am dancing championship.

The Sun reports that the pair will enjoy “vigorous practice sessions” before jetting out to St Petersburg, Florida, in June for the contest.

A pal of Brendan’s told TV Biz: “He will take this search for a partner very seriously indeed.

“The fact that he has an eye for the ladies won’t distract him from this important quest. OK, maybe that’s pushing it a bit.”

The show is due to air this autumn.
