Brian McFadden has insisted that he is still planning to launch a custody battle against Kerry Katona.

Brian appeared on an Irish chat show earlier this month and revealed his intentions to gain custody of his two daughters after Kerry’s recent cocaine scandal.

However, last week it was reported that Kerry was skeptical about Brian’s intentions and remained confident that she would be keeping her kids.

Writing on Twitter, McFadden announced: “Hate to do this but need to clear up false rumours! First, I am still seeking custody of my children.”

The star also denied reports that he is planning to rejoin Westlife and appear on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity.

He wrote: “Second, I am NOT going in the jungle. Oh yes other rumours! I’m not rejoining Westlife and I’m not starting a new boyband.”

He then joked: “I did however apply for the Sugababe roll [sic] but apparently I didn’t get it due to lack of experience!”
