Brian McFadden to make boyband reality TV show
Brian McFadden is using his boyband expertise, to help front a ‘Making The Band’ style reality TV show.
The former Westlife singer will join forces with Australian DJ Kyle Sandilands in his search for the teenage heartthrobs.
Following the lives of a five-piece boy band, the TV show has already been pitched to VH1, MTV and Bravo networks in the US.
“It follows what happens in a group and how you take a boy band and market them,” Sandilands, 38, said on his breakfast radio show.
“It will go through how a song is written, what life is like on the road because he (McFadden) has experienced that and hearing his stories … and his journey and all the shenanigans, we thought it would be appealing. It’s more a documentary, not a reality show so much and how they go from five guys to a Westlife or ‘N Sync.”
