Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model 2011 launches 4 July on Sky Living!

Britain’s Next Top Model is back! But the show has been rebranded Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model which is technically correct but a bit of a mouthful really!

It is the seventh series of the show which seeks to find a girl to take the Top Model crown although this year brings something slightly different. For one thing the judges leave the studio for roadshows in six cities in an attempt to find the face of Britain.

BINTM is fronted by supermodel Elle ‘The Body’ Mcpherson. The supermodel with over 30 years industry experience is supported by three regular judges, designer Julien Macdonald, stylist to the stars Grace Woodward and male model Charlie Speed. Fearne Cotton narrates the show.

The show is much more X Factor in style this year with the auditions and more of a focus on the personalities of the contestants. After the auditions there follows a mass cull and a Boot Camp where 90 girls are whittled down to 12. The series will run for 13 weeks and it takes the girls through various challenges to enable them to prove their model credentials.

Guest judges this year include Janice Dickenson, hottie Tyson Beckford, designer Henry Holland, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Yvonne Keating (model and wife of Ronan Keating).

The lucky winner of the show will win

  • a coveted contract with Models 1
  • a cover with Company magazine
  • a contract with Revlon makeup
  • a contract to front a Miss Selfridge campaign.
  • a Jamaican holiday and;
  • a brand new Peugeot car!

The show is on Sky Living this Monday (4 July) at 9pm.

Keep an eye on StyleJacking and unrealityTV for all the news from the show!

    the changes to britains nex top model are rubbish .why another x factor format.again its more about the judges getting as much exposure as they can and we tune in to see the girls come from nothing to gain confidence not ssnearing behind comments from over exposed judges .cut the soppy sad music. you have spoiled my favourite program.

    I so agree with previous comment. It has spoilt my enjoyment and I will now have to wait for ANTM and hope that they don’t fiddle with the formula. I found the comments made by some of the judges so rude especially Julien Macdonald. Lets be honest he is the last person who should be being bitchy (let he who is without sin …………..)
    The ends of the last BNTM was rubbish too just like an X factor BGT final. Just not what I tune in to watch.

    should Britain and Irelands Next top model be from Britain or Ireland or are you looking for a Miss Europe!!

    I cannot believe that such dreadful things are out there on TV for people to watch!! I have just seen a glimpse of the episode where the girls have to go in the water with sharks etc and one poor thing was so distressed she couldn’t do it…. Then she was being told she had to go back in!! No wonder we have such a problem in our country with esteem and image in our young people. This not healthy viewing at all.
