Britain’s Got Talent: James Stone Hits The Stage!

52 year club singer and dad of 4, James Stone is auditioning tonight on Britain’s Got Talent to reach his ultimate dreams.

“Everyone wants to do the Royal Variety, I’ve had enough of bread and butter gigs – I want big one!” says James. “I’ve sung in Bingo halls for over 40 years, I want to break out of the mould of clubs, bars, no more bingo halls and for me the main thing is to get a dressing room, I’m fed up of getting changed in cars outside clubs” he laughs

On stage, James tells the Judges his age to which gets a huge applause from the audience. He tells Simon he’s good enough to win the competition and starts singing I Just Want To Make Love To You – the audience love him but will the Judges?

At the end of his performance, Piers tells James that he was great and that the audience clearly loved him. Amanda says he’s a sexier version of Mick Jagger with snake hips. Simon says he has lots of confidence with a big ol’ belters voice but has picked up some cheap bad habits from the clubs and he seemed a little bit desperate in parts. Could this hinder any chance for James of going through to the next round?
