Britain’s Got Talent winners Attraction may be overshadowed by America’s Got Talent act, Catapult!
Ever since Hungarian shadow theatre group Attraction won this year’s Britain’s Got Talent, it’s been rumoured that show boss Simon Cowell is keen to sign them up to a lucrative deal that would see them performing their amazing act in top Las Vegas nightspots…
However, Catapult, an act that’s very similar to Attraction, have taken America’s Got Talent by storm, and it’s been reported today that they could have first dibs on the Sin City market.
The Sun’s TV Biz reports, “Catapult wowed judges on America’s Got Talent just last week with a similar shadow dance routine…
“They were sent through to the semi-finals with Brit judge, Spice Girl Mel B, declaring: ‘That was incredible. Creative, original, entertaining. You hit a home run’.2
Her fellow judge Howard Stern told the group, “Everything we’re looking for on this show just walked onto this stage.”
Last night, a Catapult insider said that the group’s leader ,Adam Battelstein, had devised the shadow dance idea “years ago.”
The source said, “Adam was doing it in 2006 and performed a routine on the Oscars in 2007.”
The insider added that Catapult were ready to “fight” Attraction for the Vegas slot, and added, “We’ve seen those Hungarians and they’re good – but not as good as Catapult.”
Here’s a look at Catapult in action…
