Britain’s Next Top Model returns to our screens next Monday, with former Supermodel Elle Mcpherson at the helm.

An Elle lookalike, a Sikh rebel, a plus size model, a London socialite, a single mother and a former Miss Plymouth make up the final 25 and the wannabe models bring both beauty and bickering in equal doses as they battle it out to impress a fresh faced judging panel which includes top designer Julien MacDonald, stylist Grace Woodward and model Charley Speed.

Julien caused a bit of a stir among show fans last week when he told Wales On Sunday:

‘This is a serious show. A catwalk model is a size six to eight.

‘You can’t have a plus size girl winning – it makes it a joke.’
