Britain’s Next Top Model: Hunt for the 40+ Woman
The people behind Britain’s Next Top Model, have decided to run a talent search with a twist. For their new series, they will be searching for six older models to compete for modeling jobs.
Producer Marty Redman of Thumbs Up Productions told The Sun: “It feels like older women have been getting some stick recently with the ageism rows over Arlene Phillips and newsreaders.
“We think it’s time to remind people women can be fab at 40 – look at Carla Bruni, Cindy Crawford or Yasmin Le Bon.”
He said the show would be less bitchy than Top Model, adding: “It will be more of a makeover show with constructive criticism. We probably won’t get models slagging each other off.”

Thats good. For once the middle group are being considered. You either have to be under 25 or over 60 these days so the middle group is always left out. This should be good news for all women who manage to keep fit and look good post 30.
