After their first week the castaways met host Danny Wallace for the first time and he asked them to go away and come back several days later when they could nominate who had contributed the least to island life.

After much heated debate and a few false starts the group agreed not to nominate anyone, however when crunch time arrived, most of the castaways did nominate, and most nominated Jason Ross.

As Danny Wallace sent the group back to camp, Jason’s fate was revealed. As the person who contributed least, Jason is to be sent to a beach, to live completely alone for a whole week. Danny suggests Jason might want to use this time for self-reflection and to decide whether he is going to change how he interacts with the other castaways.

I was shocked when Jason was nominated, over the first two shows he seemed to be one of the most active Castaways. He also seems quite level headed and well respected. The first shock of the series! Apparently the next will occur within the next few days! I can’t wait until Friday.
