Cat Deeley has apparently been given the job to present ITV’s newest reality TV show, You’re The One That I Want.

The show, a brainchild of Simon Cowell, will be based around trying to find people to play the lead roles in a West End production of Grease.

A TV source told The Sun: “Lots of presenters had their names in the frame. But Cat was chosen and it’s a done deal. She’s in the US and it’s simply a matter of getting her agent to sign on her behalf.

“Cat’s star is really rising in the States but she really wants to do this. It’s also a good excuse for her to come home and see her mum.”
