Celebrity Big Brother boss, Phil Edgar Jones has admitted that they have a round the clock welfare team in place for the benefit of this years team of housemates.

The new series is due to kick off this Friday night and once in the house the celebrities will be watched 24 hours a day by a team of people who will be specifically looking out for anyone in emotional distress or in isolation.

Yesterday afternoon Edgar Jones told Unreality TV:

“We have a specific welfare team. Their job is to watch the housemates and report any problems they may be observing. That could be people who have been isolated or are unhappy in some way, or who just aren’t very well.”
