Jockey Frankie Dettori has been tipped to battle it out with former X Factor contestant Rylan Clark to win the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Bookmakers William Hill have cut the price on Frankie winning from 5/1 to 9/2 placing him second favourite behind Rylan.

A spokesman for the chain of betting shops said: “The X Factor did a great job promoting Rylan, but when you have access to someone 24 hours a day there is nowhere to hide and he could be found out, whilst Frankie has many years of experience in the spotlight and will be prepared.”

The exact line-up for Celebrity Big Brother is yet to be announced but a number of stars are rumoured to be taking part.

Neighbours actor Ryan Maloney, who plays Toadfish in the Australian soap, is expected to come third with odds of 11/2, Steps singer Claire Richards is most likely to come fourth according to William Hill with odds of 7/1 and it is thought former Beaver Falls and Coronation Street actor Sam Robertson will come fifth with odds of 7/1.

Celebrity Big Brother starts on Channel 5 at 9pm on Thursday 3rd January.
