Celebrities may be used to getting the best tables at the hottest dining establishments in town, but this week on LIVING two of them will discover exactly what it takes to run a restaurant – in their own living room. Celebrity Restaurant in Our Living Room features former Blue member Anthony Costa and presenter Vanessa Feltz participating in the ultimate culinary challenge made famous by the hit Virgin1 show, only with an added twist – both those manning the kitchen and the demanding diners will be well-known faces.

Inspired by underground restaurants, the show pits two celebrity food fanatics against each other as it challenges them to open a restaurant in their own home. But rather than the usual menu of set prices, in these living room bistros diners are empowered to choose the price they will pay, taking into account service, entertainment, restaurant design and, of course, the food. The winning celeb is the one who takes the most cash on the night, with all proceeds going to a charity supporting the awareness of cervical cancer screening.

The chefs won’t be the only famous faces though. Anthony’s guests include actors Nicola Stapleton and Gemma Bissix, while Vanessa serves supper to Boyzone’s Shane Lynch, presenter Anthea Turner and her hubbie Grant Bovey. With Anthony opting for a homely Greek feast and Vanessa determined to put on a grander affair, which star will win rave reviews for their talents in the kitchen?
