Celebrity Scissorhands 2008
Viewers beware: Celebrity Scissorhands is back. Once again courageous members of the public will have their hair cut, snipped and styled by a team of novice celebrity trainees. Expect more hair horrors than ever before!
Renowned British hairdresser Lee Stafford returns to take the helm at the Celebrity Scissorhands Hair & Beauty Academy and attempt the impossible - to turn a team of stars into fully fledged hair and beauty experts in just three weeks.
Amongst this year’s celebrity trainees are: The Apprentice’s Lucinda Ledgerwood; Ex EastEnders actress Shana Swash; Stedman Pearson from 80s pop sensation Five Star; The Real Hustle beauty Jessica Jane Clement; and former Grange Hill actors in the form of (Togger) Chris Perry-Metcalf and (Zammo) Lee Macdonald. More celebrities will be announced soon!
Also returning to Scissorhands is pop icon Steve Strange. This year Steve has a new role as the Academy’s Image Consultant. Whether clients require a new look for a wedding, job interview or hot date, Steve will use his unique brand of creativity to transform brave clients’ make-up, clothes and unfortunately their hair.
Presenter George Lamb (Make My Body Younger, Big Brother’s Little Brother) is back to host the hour-long primetime show from inside the purpose built state-of-the-art Academy in Camden, London.
From Sunday 26th October - Thursday 13th November 2008 on BBC Three

Steve Strange makes the show - it is like watching a nutter hairdresser on acid - on absolute winner - he actualy makes the most outrageous/fabulous haircuts as his hands are shaking like mad
The show would not be the same without him

Steve Strange is sooooo annoying! I would never let that Shaking Strange anywhere near my hair - or clothes. What an attention seeking nutter.
Loving Shana’s leopard print hair tattoo. Sabrina’s had one done too. I LOVE HER HAIR and now she’s had the tattoo done it looks even more fab.
As for the extensions that the Cheeky Girls have, I can make them for you!!! Alternatively, buy them from any Afro Caribean hair shop that sells products for Afro hair you can find real hair extensions of different textures and colours!!!

Hey guys i think its just a stencil and shaved and died to look like leopard print……i would really love it as a tat but think hers isnt.
Does anyone know yet where we can get it done…..im thinking of applying to celebrity scissorhands and seeing who done it for her as i dont think she had it when she first went on.

I agree with all of the abouve that say shanas hair is absaloutly AMAZING!
However i dont think it will be a tattoo because that would be realy painful, an i dont think she will want it on the side of her head for ever.
STEVE STRANGE is just thet, strange! He is one of the most annoying man i have ever had to watch on TV, and didnt he say he had a hair allergy last year?
Get the shaking weirdo off the show, its not as if hes gonna win!!
Shana Swash to Win shes awsome

Please dont anyone get it as a real tatoo its very dangerous, i know a bit about hair dressing plus i’m a proffesional designer, my assuption is that it is stencils, you could make them yourself, get two sheets of waterproof stencil paper on one cut out shapes of the out line of leopard prints, then place it acuratly on top of the other sheet as a guide to cut out the smaller round leopard shapes, fold the top left hand side of the stencils so that you can match the patterns up on your head, then get either dark brown or black hair spray paints and gold or yellow ones also, shave the area of which you want it spray the dark brown or black on first then the smaller shape stencil on top once dry and spray the gold or yellow on top, HOPE THAT HELPS YOU GUYS. HAPPY TO HELP OH YEA DONT FORGET TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHILDREN IN NEED.

I’m off to Toni and Guy in my town to get Shana’s leopard print look done. Loads of places I asked said I needed to go to a barbers to get it done, but I managed to find a stylist in Toni and Guy thankfully! So I’d suggest trying trendy salons like this to get the cut done!

To all those seeking the tattooed hair as seen on Celebrity Scissorhands, I am the PR for the hairdresser that created both Shana and Sabrina’s leopard print hair.
The hairdresser in question is Stella from Clipso in Watford.
These are not stencils, nor real tattooes- Stella shaves the head first, and then draws the designs on free-hand using Fudge Paintbox for the vibrant colours.
So far she has also created zebra print, skull and cross bones, flowers and birds- there is nothing this arty hairdresser can not do!
For enquiries please call Clipso Watford on 01923 228030
