Celebrity Scissorhands: Nikki Grahame Gets A Shock
The team at BBC’s Celebrity Scissorhands played a cruel joke on Big Brother star Nikki Grahame this week and nearly reduced her to tears.
Nikki agreed to take part on the show, which is in aid of this years Children In Need, under the impression that she would be receiving a massage from Darren Day.
Imagine her face when she found out that she was also being given a haircut by Steve Strange, it wasn’t pretty!
Thankfully the crew did eventually tell her that it was a wind up, but not before she cried “Oh no! Please! I don’t want anyone doing my hair!� she cried. “I’d rather have an operation! I’d rather bathe in poo!�
To be fair to Nikki, I wouldn’t let any of those eejits loose on my hair either. I actually filled in an application for the show but specifically stated that I would NOT volunteer for a new haircut.
I know the eighties are all back at the minute, but i don’t fancy a rock style mullet thank you very much!

I watched the whole episode and I would not say she had a tantrum. Why do they call it that when all she really did was say ‘no’ several times.
Lee kept on bullying her saying it was for children and need and I think she would have walked out earlier but she felt guilty for doing so.
She wasnt there for a hair cut and as she was leaving after her massage Lee called her over and said ‘Nikki, this is Steve and he will be cutting your hair. (HAS ANYONE SEEN STEVE CUT HAIR - OH MY GOD - AND NOT ONE CELEBRITY HAS HAD IT CUT BY HIM I MUST ADD.
She just look so shocked and said no way. She was very polite and didnt raise her voice. She said she like Steve, loved the 80s and would buy his album, but dont go near my hair. Somehow she was badgered into having her hair washed and it dawned on her that they were really determined to ruin her hair or it was a complete wind up. Any way while Scott was washing her hair she got really upset and then Steve bent down and told her it was a wind up. She laughed aloud and said ‘oh my god I always fall for it’ or something similar.
She did leave very relieved.
There was no tantrum.

Does anyone know who Nikki’s agent is? I believe it is the same as Jade’s. I would like to find out where we can find notification of Nikki’s upcoming TV and public appearances. I always seem to miss them.
So glad Nikki did not get tricked into having her hair cut…so much of the Nikki charm. She seems well able to look after herself and doing it with more and more composure. Good for you Nikki

I would also like to add that the men were buzzing around her all the time. Even though they did say a few things about her in the staff room they could not hide their fascination of her. They joked and fussed, and even if they are in denial, you could tell they all liked her.

OMG this one episoid ryt a client went in to get there hair cut! and went home crying!!!! haha becuase they had ALL there hair chopped off!!!

i hope nikki find’s happiness soon as she is a lovely girl with a lot going for and is great on tv so give nikki her own talk show which she would be great on.

Steve mentioned a friend coming into the salon and someone asked him if he was going to cut their hair. He said the friend would never have their hair cut by him. He just laughed.
So Nikki had a lucky escape. Thank god she refused.

Linda Lusardi is in the salon now. Notice no one is either cutting her hair or bullying her into it. She is just having rollers put in because she wants wavey hair.
Why couldnt they have treated Nikki the same way.

Steve was really nasty about Nikki on the highlighed show last night and it was him and Lee that wound her up. It was like ‘job done boys’ when they made her cry. I think I would have cried if I was going to have my hair cut off.
This is directed at Nikki’s agent - YOU ARE NOT DOING A VERY GOOD JOB.
Nikki constantly seems to me ‘a lamb to slaughter’.
How can you let your client be treated this way. She has such talent.
You never seem to protect her or stand up for her. Not one statement anywhere.
All these people on this and other forums are scratching their heads in disbelief.
