These celebrities have THAT much money, you think… what do they do with it?

Well, for some celebrities, it isn’t all about spending and living the high life as they like to give some of their hard-earned money to Charities and it has today been revealed that the One Direction lads have topped the chart along with Taylor Swift.

Social change website, Do Something has revealed its annual list of stars who have done the most for good causes throughout 2013 and it so happens that One Direction and Taylor Swift are the most noted out there.

Earlier this year, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik took part in Red Nose Day and their efforts managed to raise around £2 million which firmly put them in second place. The lads volunteered in Ghana at the beginning of the year as a group, but the guys have also participated in individual causes.

Harry Styles and Liam Payne managed to raise over $800,000 for Cancer Research earlier this year.

However, topping the chart is music star Taylor Swift who donated a massive $100,000 to the Nahsville Symphony.

At the event she performed alongside the likes of Jon Bon Jovi and none other than Prince William.

Elsewhere on the list, Beyonce is named in third place following her efforts with Chime for Change and Goodwill. The late Paul Walker and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis follow in fourth and fifth place, respectively. The latter has done good for the LGBT community with their smash hit ‘Same Love’ which spoke about marriage equality and how the hip-hop scene can be a little demeaning and derogatory sometimes.

Check out the Top 20 list, below:

…and by that I mean all the stars listed are American minus 1D (who might as well be American – just saying), not the causes.
