Just like One Direction featured on American TV show iCarley, Cher Lloyd has gone on and followed in their footsteps by making a cameo on Big Time Rush along side of James Maslow.
Cher appeared in the boys Nickelodeon TV show in an episode called ‘Big Time Scandal.’ Big Time Rush star Logan Henderson said: “We have been a huge fan of Cher Lloyd’s work since X Factor. We are so excited to have her guest starring on Big Time Rush. She has a charming, sweet, and funny personality, which is a perfect fit for our show.”
Having made her appearance on the show Cher told MTV: “I’m very nervous to see it, actually. I haven’t seen it and this is the first thing I’ve ever really done within acting. You know because I’m a singer I can kind of be let off a little bit if it’s rubbish.
She went on to say: I had such a great time there. And it was kind of crazy because you see the other actors and actresses and they’re so young and yet they’ve been doing it for such a long time. They’re so experienced. And then someone like me who gets to be onstage all the time, it was quite difficult.”
Elsewhere Glee have recorded their own version of X Factor’s Little Mix, debut single ‘Wings.’
Their international debut single will feature on the season finale of Glee, which will air on May 9.
However we can give you a sneak peek of the audio right here!
Band Member Perrie said: “I can’t wait to see the scene it’s going to be in and who will be singing what.”
She added: “I was addicted to the first series, but soon after I started X Factor stuff, so I didn’t manage to keep up. But I was absolutely obsessed with it. I used to run home from college to watch it.”
This isn’t the first time Little Mix’s single has been used on US TV as it was previously featured on the American Idol when four contestants sang the track together last week.
