Children in Need 2013

Children in Need is the one event of the year that is filled to the rafters with talent who all have one aim in common: to raise as much money as possible for a worthy cause.

Five members of that talented bunch make up another group by the name of One Direction! This evening, the 1D lads have done their bit to pledge that you give any spare money that you have to the charity, along with auctioning off a special Pudsey Bear!

Appearing in the Queen Vic earlier this evening, Liam admitted: “Lads, I can’t believe we’re standing in the Queen Vic!”

However, there was method to their madness as they were there to introduce a special highlights package from last night’s Children In Need Rocks concert, complete with exclusive performances which weren’t broadcast on BBC Three.

Liam continued: “Last night you might have watched the Children In Need Rocks concert…”

“Whilst we’re giving you the best music around why don’t you give something back?” Harry added.

“This has been a vintage year for Children in need, and it’s thanks to you at home,” Niall added.

Earlier today, Niall Horan also posted on Twitter that it was going to be a “great show” this evening, even reminding fans that their special, custom Pudsey Bear is still up for auction with all proceeds going to the cause.

He tweeted: “This is our 1D pudsey ! It’s up for auction right now for a great cause, please give what you can”.

Even Liam Payne was getting in the spirit of things, also tweeting: “Hope everyone’s good and excited for children in need :)”

Have you done your bit for Children in Need this year? The show continues throughout the evening on BBC with more special performances and sketches in store along with a Battle of the Bands between McFly and JLS. Who will reign victorious?

Felt bad for them last night, I thought they all looked absolutely kn*ckered! They’ve worked insanely hard this year, Louis in particular has lost so much weight. Their performance and Torvill and Dean doing Strictly were the only real highlights for me this year, but it’s an amazing cause and I hope they raised loads of money.
