Reality TV star, Coleen McLoughlin has been dropped as the face of Asda and is to be replaced by a more glamourous model. It would seem that Asda want to attract a more middle class customer and are no longer targetting the chav market.
’Among the names being considered is Carla Bruni. She’s very attractive and a highly stylish person. We feel she would fit in very well with the George look,’ said spokesman Ed Watson.
‘Coleen has been a fantastic ambassador for us,’ George brand director Fiona Lambert told The Sun.
‘But we want to show that our core fashions are for everyone.’
