Reality TV star and socialite turned bodybuilding brick s***house Jodie Marsh is reportedly the latest recruit who’ll take to the rink in this year’s Dancing On Ice.

The Daily Star reports that Jodie, and EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas, will take part in the new series, which is reportedly going to be revamped in terms of its set and the judging panel.

A show insider told the paper, “The show was slammed as being boring last time around…

“So bosses are keen to pick people who will make the headlines, and in Jodie’s case, it doesn’t have to be for the right reasons.

“She loves the limelight and they reckon she’d be great on the show…”

And of Matt – who has been axed from his EastEnders role as Anthony Moon – the insider said, “They approached him after he said he wanted to do Strictly Come Dancing, so he really is top of their list.”

With regard to the rumoured shake-up of the judging panel, the paper reports that Jason Gardiner has been to make a comeback, though that has not been confirmed.

The last series of DOI was branded a flop after it recorded some of its lowest ever viewer ratings, having lost a number of viewers to BBC1′s hit drama, Call The Midwife.

The judges were also accused of being “too nice” which it seems is something that will be rectified in the new series.
