Cheryl Cole’s ex, professional dancer Derek Hough, has revealed he is unsure whether he will return to Dancing With The Stars when it returns later this year.
Hough, who was linked romantically to Cole after her highly publicised split from Chelsea defender, Ashley Cole, has appeared as a professional dance partner on the hit ABC US dancing show, Dancing With The Stars, since 2007 and is currently a three-time champion with Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jennifer Grey.
However, speaking to Access Hollywood recently , Hough admitted that he might not be part of the line-up when the show returns in March, though he insists he will be back for the autumn series.
“I don’t know. As of now, I’m not sure I’m returning this season, in particular,
“I’ll [definitely] be back for the fall season,” Hough insisted.
Meanwhile Broadway superstar and former Dawson’s Creek actress, Katie Holmes, has strongly denied that she will be taking part in the show this series either.
An apparent friend of the star, who has a daughter with ex-husband Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise, told the National Enquirer recently that Katie’s daughter Suri, asked her to take part in the dancing competition after they bonded watching it on the TV together, commenting:
“Suri has been prodding her mum to join the series. Katie figures if she doesn’t manage to land a spot on the upcoming season, she’ll try for the next.”
“After going through her stressful divorce, competing on the show would be like therapy for her and it will keep Suri entertained at the same time. She feels that a stint on Dancing would charm the public and kick-start her showbiz career.”
However a spokesperson for Holmes has since firmly denied that the actress has any interest in taking part in Dancing with the Stars this March, telling Gossip Cop:
“[The rumours are] one thousand percent, without a doubt, untrue!”
