Dancing With The Stars: Lindsay Lohan ‘turned down place on show’
Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down the opportunity to appear on Dancing With The Stars.
The actress is said to have been offered a place on the show, which is the American version of Strictly Come Dancing, for the 16th series this year.
But the star apparently turned down the lucrative offer as she did not want to appear on a reality television show, according to TMZ.
Lindsay is said to have been approached by Dancing With The Stars producers on a number of occasions and was reportedly offered £346,784 to take part in the upcoming season.
A representative for the show said: “We don’t comment on casting.”
Lindsay was believed to have been taking part in the current series of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in some way but with just four days left of the show, it seems increasingly unlikely.
The star arrived in the UK after Christmas and stayed in London while she celebrated New Year’s Eve.
The actress has hit the headlines in the past for her alleged troubles with drink and drugs and is also said to be facing financial difficulties.
Recently, she made a return to acting and is set to appear in upcoming film The Canyons.
