Dannii Minogue offers Leon Jackson support

Following the news that former X Factor winner Leon Jackson has been dropped by his record label Sony, New magazine is reporting that his mentor on the show, Dannii Minogue, “has been in touch to offer support and career advice”.
Leon said of Dannii, “I adore her. She’s so nice and caring” while Danni said, “I care about these kids. Being a mentor shouldn’t just stop when the show ends…
“I’ll do all I can to help.”
Rhydian Roberts – who lost out on the title of winner to Leon – told the magazine that Leon was “a gent” and added that he was “convinced” that Jackson “would do well in the future”.

Just goes to show that all the negative stuff the media print about her is unfair. Danni works really hard for her acts and was always there for them and because mouthy Rachel runs her down she became media enemy no.1, personally Danni tried hard with Rachel but she just thought she knew it all. I was not a big Leon fan but its nice to know that someone is supporting him.

I am an American and I am 53 yrs. old. I have been listening to music for a very long time. When I was a teenager I can remenber falling asleep with the radio playing the music of the beatles and so on. Any way I just wanted to say that I happen across Leon Jackson’s website by mistake but decided to give a listen. I have been listening ever since. This young man has something special. I hate to say – Sony made a mistake cutting him lose. To bad you can’t come to America, I am sure that you would be a sucess, even though Simmon is here also. I will continue to listen to his music.

I agree that Leon has a good voice. Very relaxing when he sings the Michael Buble type songs. As his voice matures, the quality of his singing can only get better. I hope we can see him back on track again and with a second album to listen to. I bought his first one months ago and still keep playing it as I enjoy it so much. All the very best to you, Leon.
