Danyl Johnson on his “bad press”
X Factor star Danyl Johnson has been telling Now magazine that he’s “trying to ignore” the outpouring of bad press that’s haunted him over the past couple of weeks.
Danyl told the magazine, “I don’t read the papers because good and bad stuff can go to your head or get you down.”
He went on to say, “You can’t get away from it because people will let you know about different things.
“But I just try to keep focused and keep my mind on the game in hand.”
When asked how he felt about Simon describing his very first audition as “the best I’ve ever seen”, Danyl said, “You think, ‘Great, now I’m going to be rubbish’.
“I totally suffered from that because it was like, ‘What else do I do?’
“But Simon’s on our side. I speak to him all the time.”
I hope Danyl’s managed to pick himself up for this week’s show; he was clearly very upset last week and didn’t do himself any favours.

A reply for lynz – Do you really think she was bothering Stacey or other contestant? Have you been near them to believe anything bad that is written in your stupid papers? Come on, that man is an amazing singer! And everyone should praise that! Instead we see some crazy chicks screaming “go Loyd” or “Go Jedward” just for some pair of blue eyes, when these people don`t have their place in such contest! I will say GO Danyl! I hope you win because you really are amazing! And everyone with some senses could say just by looking at your eyes that you are a nice person!Jamie, Olly, Stacey and Lucie are very good too (specially Jamie). Bit between them and Danyl, if you stay one moment to compare, Danyl should win. He can make the songs his owns, he is able not only to simply sing, but to compose and that`s even more amazing!

It seems there are some uninformed people who still believe the hype and think that this shouter can sing. If you enjoy people “singing” through their nose, shouting the high notes and acting (remember, he’s a drama teacher so he can act…) that he’s been hard done by in order to win the viewers over, then frankly you’re welcome to him. Personally I’m too intelligent and too busy to get sucked into his self-made dramas….
What are you doing writing such nonsense? Actually he is a DANCE teacher, I know this because he is/was my son’s dance teacher. I would love to hear you ’shout’ and a beautiful sound come out of your mouth, oh yes and I find it very hard to believe any of this rubbish about being ‘Too intelligent and too busy to get sucked into his self- made dramas’ you found the time to write into this didn’t you….
