Denise Richards has enjoyed a boost in public profile over the last year and most of that is down to her new reality TV show, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated.

Denise’s ex, Charlie Sheen, reportedly tried and failed to stop their two young daughters from taking part in the show. However the ‘Wild Things’ actress claims that she is not taking advantage of her daughters and that having them in the show helps her to be a better mum.

Richards told Contact Music: “Everyone is so judgmental when it comes to raising kids: if you breastfeed or not, feed them only organic foods. The bottom line is, I’m not exploiting my children. They are only on screen for about a minute here and there. The show isn’t about them.

“I get to incorporate them into the show – which means I can take them to school as part of my job. How many single working moms can say that?”
