Former teen heart-throb, Donny Osmond has revealed that he has signed up to compete in this years series of Dancing With Stars.

Whilst taping an interview for The Bonnie Hunt Show Osmond revealed: “Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I’ll say I am seriously considering doing it, let’s put it that way,” he said, adding: “I guess I just let the cat out of the bag.”

The host asked if his appearance would lead to any competition between him and his sister Marie, after she appeared in the fifth series of the show, he replied: “I can’t let [her] upstage me. Besides, who do you think taught her how to dance?

“It is going to be very difficult because I am going to be doing [the Osmonds' Las Vegas show] on top of doing Dancing With The Stars.”

A representative for the show told E! News: “We don’t comment on casting rumours.”
