Fred MacAulay has revealed to The Daily Record today that his singing skills are not all they should be, and he is getting more and more worried about entering the Fame Academy mansion.
Fred revelaed that in Primary school he was kicked out of the choir for being so bad. He said:
“I must have been about nine and was at Rattray Primary School and wanted to be in the choir because there was a day trip to Perth for some singing competition.
“But I was dropped from the choir for not being good enough.
“It was a good lesson for Fame Academy because I did what every man would do in that circumstance - I burst into tears.
“I made such a fuss I got back in. I remember being on the bus.”
Like The MacDonald Brothers before him, MacAuley is placing all his hopes on the Scottish viewers.
He admitted: “There will be some blatant vote-catching by me on Saturday as I’m planning to wear a kilt. I want to fly the flag for Scotland.”
