Former The Only Way Is Essex star, Maria Fowler has scored a winning goal as she hooks up with another footballer following her split from the last one, Derby winger Lee Croft.

Fowler, who was sacked from the hit ITV2 reality show last year was spotted getting rather cosy with Birmingham City defender, Curtis Davies, on a recent holiday to, yeah you guessed it, Marbella.

Fowler, who was notorious for her blazing rows with her former TOWIE co-star, Kirk Norcross – making her presence on the show redundant after he quit to take part in Celebrity Big Brother, had been seeing croft for 8 months before they split in April, and had even talked about settling down together and having kids.

Since then she has remained quite low-profile, apart from flashing the odd bikini in Marbs and entering into a heated twitter war with X Factor’s Marcus Collins after he branded her a racist.

But she looked rather comfortable being snapped with the new footballer in her life, pictures of which can be seen in today’s Sun newspaper, so a WAG future my be on the cards again after all.

We wonder what Croft will make of the pictures, which were taken in the same resort that he and Fowler met 11 months ago (and probably feature the same bikini!)
