Frank Lampard & Chelsea team pull out of Marco Pierre White’s Kitchen Burnout
Frank Lampard has convinced his Chelsea teammates to pull out of a planned appearance on Marco Pierre White’s Kitchen Burnout.
Bosses had arranged for Lampard’s ex Elen Rivas to cook for the team and their WAGS, meaning that the mum of two would meet Lampard’s current girlfriend Christine Bleakley for the first time.
A source told The Sun: “Frank was furious when he heard ITV were secretly trying to get him, Elen and Christine on the same show.
“But he didn’t want to cancel his table on his own as it would have looked petty.
“Instead, he decided to get all of the boys together and they staged a proper mutiny.
“They took it right to the top, and eventually the idea was dropped.
“Everyone was more than willing to help. Bosses promised Lamps he wouldn’t have to see Elen, but it wasn’t a risk he was prepared to take.”
This weekend Elen revealed that she was still in love with Frank.
She said: “I miss him, the security of our relationship and the fact I was with the man I am still in love with.
“He is a wonderful man, he knows me very well and he is always right about everything.
“Even though he was so much younger than me, he was like a father figure, always giving me advice and support.
“I don’t miss champagne and handbags – I miss being with him.”
