Gaynor Faye and Daniel Whiston Win Dancing On Ice!
Tonight Gaynor Faye was crowned Dancing On Ice 2006 champion, and in my opinion the right person won.
Her and partner Daniel Whiston didn’t just skate well, but they added a certain something to their routines which couldn’t be faked or emulated by the other contestants. Their performances were always emotional, romantic and often very sassy.
I enjoyed every performance they gave, (well maybe not their very first one if I’m honest!) and I have been on the edge of my seat all night waiting for the results. When I heard that Stefan Booth was through to the finals I had a strong suspiscion that he would be voted winner just because he was a young handsome male, and not because he was the best skater. Thankfully that didn’t happen.
The result of Dancing On Ice tonight renewed my faith in the public vote, it showed that we can choose the right person to win sometimes. Of course then I switched over to BBC1 to see Russell Watson being kept in ‘Just The Two Of Us’ for another night and my faith in Joe public crumbled once more!

In my opinion Bonnie should not have copeated because she is a profesional dancer, there for she has more flexibility.
I am glad that Gaynor won, she deserved it!!!!

The correct 2 people danced the bolero in dancing on ice the final. A lot of Bonnies routines involved her in the air that looks amazing but did you watch her in the ice, she could hardly skate. She had an advantage over the others from the beginning being a professional dancer the voting public were right to place her in third!!

Gaynor and Daniel were fantastic together, they were such a passionate couple when they danced, gaynor you were brilliant and what a wonderful partner in daniel.
This show has been brillaint for Ice Dancing put it back on the map

I agree Bonnie couldnt skate to save her self where as gaynar actually left Daniels arms and skated and very well i may add.
I also think it is harder for the men as they have to lift the women up and skate at the same time. I also thought Captain Jack was the best skater and should not have gone out so early but i am glad Gaynor won she deserved it!

I think that Gaynor & Daniel did excellent, they certainly deserved to win. I enjoyed every performance which did. Bonnie did well in the air, but her skating was’nt up to scratch. As for Stefan, his exuberance was starting to annoy me.
And Daniel is lovely so it was nice to see him each week. Well done to the pair of them.

Gaynor and Daniel were the very worthy winners -they actually ICE DANCED whereas Bonnie and Matt’s routines were more Pairs Skating - well at least the lifts were more pairs than dance but Bonnie lacked the fluency of the skating that Gaynor had. What a wonderful couple Gaynor and Daniel made - I was completely gripped by their performances. I wish I could find any DVDs that Daniel has appeared on professionally, such as the one he is doing in Blackpool. Can anyone help.

Hello everyone.
I think Gaynor and Daniel definately deserved to WIN they were wicked, I think Daniel is so nice!! I liked Stefan and Kristina aswel though. But i agree about Bonnie ye she was very good when Matt was holding on to her and when she was in the air but when it actually came to skating especailly on her own she werent too good!

I was so glad Gaynor and Daniel won! They were brilliant. Daniel is soo sweet and gorgeous, I just saw him on Sunday in ‘Hot Ice’ at the Arena, Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Absolutely awesome.

I am sooo going to buy one of their new act Amarin which features Dan as the front man!!!

Please thank Charlotte for info about Skating Show DVD at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Unfortunately, I could not find the one she commented on called Amarin where the lovely Daniel Whiston is the front man. Can you please tell me where I can buy it. Thankyou. Jeanette.

Because Amarin is the new act, the DVD has indeed not yet been added to the Blackpool Pleasure Beach site.
You can purchase the Amarin DVD by:
-Visiting the Arena shop, BPB
-Phoning Stageworks (producer of HI) on their Blackpool number 01253 342 426/7 and asking for Hot Ice DVDs.

hello to anyone who is a big dan whiston fan. have you had a look at the dan whiston forum on the blueroom? always lots of news about him. also to the person who asked about dan dvds there are quite a few chill,h2o,xylatomia etc. you can get hold of these either through ordering them through the pleasure beach website or ringing the pleasure beach
