Geordie Shore stars say TOWIE is B*llocks, but Ricci thinks Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing could handle Geordie Shore!
Recent Cacun evictee’s, Geordie Shore stars Charlotte Crosby and Rebecca Walker, have taken a huge swipe at their Essex rival reality show, The Only Way Is Essex, claiming the show is “absolute b*llocks!”
Speaking of the recent summer special, The Only Way Is Marbs, Charlotte and Rebecca, who viewers watched evicted from the Cancun house they were meant to be sitting by Cancun Chris in last nights series 3 premier of Geordie Shore: Chaos in Cancun for disobeying orders, have branded their Essex counterparts as dull and far too “prim and proper”.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Walker commented: “Did you see the Marbella special? I would rather watch In the Night Garden. It was absolute b*llocks,” .
“When TOWIE is on, how many tweets do we get saying, ‘We can’t wait for Geordie Shore to be back on’ and ‘This is boring’?
“The girls in TOWIE are prim and proper all the time. [People] feel more comfortable watching us.”
Crosby commented: “You watch our show and afterwards you sit and laugh about the best bits.
“After I watch TOWIE, I feel really bad about myself. I want to go on a diet, I’m not as nice as her, I’m not perfect and you pick holes in yourself.”
However, the appearance of the Essex girls hasn’t knocked their self-confidence too much, as the pair made fun of their strict ‘No carbs before Marbs’ dieting rule, saying: “Sometime I wish I could do no carbs before Marbs. But if I was going to Marbs, I’d do carbs in Marbs, before Marbs and after Marbs. And by the pool! The best carbs is a burger and a cocktail by the pool.”
However, it would appear it’s not the entire reality rival pool the Geordie gang are put out being compared to, as Geordie Shore cast member, Ricci Guarnaccio has come out and said that he not only enjoys Made In Chelsea, but would like to see one of its stars, Jamie Laing, filming alongside him in Newcastle!
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, Guarnaccio said:
“Made In Chelsea isn’t as real as Geordie Shore, it’s more like a soap, but I still enjoy it. My fiancée Vicky took some convincing to watch this with me, as it’s our rival show, but now she’s a big fan. Jamie is my favourite character, as he seems like a really down-to-earth, nice lad who respects his mates. It’s great to see people like that on reality TV shows. If anyone could handle a night out in Newcastle, it would be him. I think I would struggle to learn all their lines, though.”
Which other reality stars would you like to see making a guest appearance in one of its rival shows? We think that Joey Essex brain might melt a little bit after one episode of Made In Chelsea and all the big words they use. Leave your thoughts and comments below!
