Taking a trip into the deepest, darkest places London has to offer, the world’s foremost ghost hunter, Yvette Fielding and the Radio 1 DJ punksters Scott Mills, Comedy Dave, plus Rachel Jones and Aled Haydon Jones prepare to delve into the spooky unknown. Join the top djing team and their ghost hunting guide as they prepare to face their most frightening fears yet. Ghost Hunting With…Radio 1 is brand new and exclusive to ITV2, Monday 3 December at 9pm.

The Radio 1’s ghost busting trip will lead them to three terrifying destinations. First up is a Napoleonic fortress which includes a labyrinth-style maze of tunnels. Built 60ft below ground level and at 2,500 ft long, there is no swift exit from this eerie location. Having learnt the tunnels were built by French soldiers captured during the war, Yvette challenges the DJ’s to a séance, with the hope of channelling some of these malevolent spirits.

The second location of the evening is a guard house. This is said to be home to the spirits of three soldiers that do not take kindly to visitors, especially of the human kind! It is here that Scott and Aled prove to be the bravest amongst the group, as they remain in the house with Yvette until the end. However, Rachel and Dave are totally freaked out and set off to cuddle up to Geoff in the taxi – far away from the ghosts and ghouls.

The next destination is Eastbury Manor. The team soon discover this house has been built upon the former site of Barking Abbey, spookily founded in AD666. It is here that Yvette asks each of the team to spend some time alone, in the dark and in separate rooms of the manor house. Whilst Scott and Aled both overcome their fears and rise to the challenge, Rachel and Dave fail their solo tasks and once again spend most of the time in the taxi with Geoffrey Beatie.

The Radio 1 DJ’s final task of the evening is to collect personal items from the Caponier tunnels, and it’s Rachel who finds the process of entering the unknown to retrieve her engagement ring all too much.
