The Story So Far…

* David’s Ian and Gest disagreed about Hayley at Bootcamp. David Ian said he liked her but David Gest didn’t think she was good enough.
* Brian said she ‘packed quite a voice in her little body’ but he said he needed to see a more sexy Sandy.

How does it feel to have got this far?
“It still hasn’t sunk in yet at all. I’m trying to take each step as it comes but sometimes it just hits me and I want to scream! It has been very emotional to get this far and you don’t realise it until you actually get a little break and go back to reality and I was emotionally drained.”
What are you looking forward to about moving to the house in London?
“I’m actually looking forward to having a birthday party and celebrating my 18th with everybody.”
Is there anything that you are worried about in the next stage?
“I know there’s going to be a lot of criticism but I am prepared for it and I know that there’s good and bad sides to everything so I’m just going to enjoy my time there. I know that I am passionate enough to be Sandy and I have got the talent, otherwise I would not have gotten this far.”
What does it mean to you to play Sandy?
“I have wanted to be Sandy since I was a baby; I was always singing the
Grease songs and have watched it for years. I have always wanted to be on the stage and see this as the perfect opportunity because it’s a musical I love!”
How do you think you would handle fame?
“I really don’t know how I would handle fame. I know that I would try my best
to stay as myself and not forget who I really am. If I won the first thing I
would do is throw a huge party for my family and friends and celebrate in style!”
What’s your ultimate ambition?
“My ultimate ambition has always been to become a professional singer. I have never really thought about the fame and fortune because I just want to be able to do what I love and show people that I can do it.”
Who are your idols?
“Christina Aguilera was always one of my idols because I love her music as
well as her voice, but my idol at the moment is Pink because she’s so
different and her music is amazing. I particularly respect artists who write
their own music because it shows passion and true talent.”
What’s your main talent?
“My main talent is my singing and I feel most confident in this talent. I
also feel that one of my special skills is being able to sleep longer than
anyone else in the family!!”
What do you think of the judges?
“I remember the judges saying that I have power and charisma which really gave me a confidence boost because nobody really knows what to expect and that made me feel a lot more comfortable and pushed me to work even harder.”
