Hot off the heels of the phenomenon that is ‘The Hills’, ‘The City’ is MTV’s highly anticipated sensational new series premiering in February, exclusively on MTV One.

‘The City’ follows beautiful fashionista Whitney Port on her exciting journey from the comfort of her hometown in LA, to downtown New York as she pursues her dream job in the big smoke. Just as ‘The Hills’ organically evolved out of Laguna Beach, its Whitney’s turn to spread her wings and take centre stage for what will undoubtedly be a journey of highs and lows as she starts a brand new life for herself in ‘The City’.

With a high profile, glamorous job at global design house, Diane Von Furstenberg, Whitney finds herself working in the upper echelon of the fashion industry at the tender age of 23. Armed only with her wits and charm, Whitney has to deal with all the challenging aspects of relocating; navigating her way around new friendships and seeking out fresh new love interests in America’s fiercely competitive dating capital.

In a city full of people with their own agendas, Whitney quickly has to decide who she can trust and who to stay away from and MTV will be with her every step of the way.
