I’d Do Anything: Who Impressed You Tonight?

I just love the BBC/Lloyd Webber shows! Actually talented people, who can all sing and aren’t there because they look good, or their Scottish!
I loved the little Olivers, and there was a lot of quality singing from the Nancy’s. I don’t think there were any bad performances on tonight’s show, but there were a few stand out girls for me.
I thought that Rachel Tucker was probably the number one tonight, she sang ‘About You Now’, and it’s not really surprising that she was so good given that she’s probably the most trained from the whole group.
Surprisingly brilliant was the red headed Jessie. Jessie opened the show with ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ and apart from her Elvis mouth thing, she really blew me away. How a girl so young can sing so powerfully is beyond me.
I also liked Jodie Prenger, who sang Chasing Pavements. Jodie probably has more personality than all the other girls put together, and she really reminds me of Nancy in the Oom Pa Pa scene from the movie. I think she will end up at least in the semi final of the show.
I’d love to hear who you liked tonight, feel free to leave your comments below, or we are all chatting about the show over on forum. Join us there!

I only joined the viewers tonite (29th Mar) and off the few suitable ‘Nancy’s’ it was great to see a fellow Belfast gal coming out tops.
I remember Rachel on stage singing here, there and everywhere as a young girl. Performing is/was well and truly in her blood so it does not surprise me she has ended up in the West End. As a child performer she came across as really pretentious, a child with a woman’s voice, and a bit annoying – but she seems to have ‘grown into’ her talent. Come on ye’ girl ye!!!!
Keisha would also make a brilliant Nancy – so if its a shared part…….
I thought Niamh really stood out again this week she was fabulous!! Doin everyone back home proud!! xxx
