In what may be the strangest coupling since Jason Orange and Catherine Tate, it would seem that Spice Girl and stand in X Factor judge, Geri Halliwell, has got herself a new man, the notorious bachelor, Russell Brand!

The pair reportedly began their secret relationship after the Olympic opening ceremony last month, after Brand dumped his former girlfriend, Isabella Brewster, to be with the flame haired vixen, but have kept things so secret that not even the other Spice Girls were aware of the new budding romance!

However, after pictures emerged of the pair together, it seems that the lid has finally been lifted, with Brand admitting:  ““I’ve got a crush on Geri Halliwell — everything in the world is how it should be.”

Brand was even seen arriving by a chauffeur-driven Mercedes to Haliwell’s house on Wednesday night, where they enjoyed a quiet night in together, before he was seen leaving again by the same means at around 11pm.  They were also spotted at Hampton Court Palace with Geri’s daughter Bluebell, enjoying a family day outlast weekend!
