ITV Blasted For Showing Jordan Sacking Nanny
ITV have been reprimanded by watchdof, OFCOM, for screening footage of Jordan (aka Katie Price) firing her nanny, on her reality TV show.
The nanny in question has previously taken Katie and her husband, Peter Andre, to court claiming unfair dismissal and was awarded four thousand pounds in damages.
In her complaint to OFCOM, Rebecca Gauld argued that while she had agreed to be filmed for the TV show, she had aske that the discussion surrounding her sacking could take place off camera, however her employer refused.
Last night OFCOM publicly backed her complaints and ITV — which had argued the footage was “editorially justified” — was ordered to make an on-screen apology.
