The release date of Jade Goody diary has been brought forward to April 16th.

The book will contain a collection of entries written in the months leading up to her death on Mother’s Day.

Jades agent, Mark Thomas, said: “Jade wanted the story of her last months to be told, both as a lasting record for her beloved boys and to raise awareness about screening for cervical cancer so that fewer women will have to go through the same thing that she did.”

HarperCollins have revealed that they will make a minimum contribution of £25,000 from the proceeds of the book to Marie Curie Cancer Care.

All Goody’s royalties from the book will go to her sons Bobby, aged five, and four-year-old Freddy.
