Jamie Oliver is giving 28-year-old Aaron Craze, one of the young chefs from Fifteen, the biggest challenge of his life: to transform a run-down rural boozer into a successful upmarket gastropub. The builders haven’t finished, and he’s only got one member of staff, but Aaron decides to open The Cock so he can start taking some money. Things get off to a rocky start: there’s no menu, and Aaron and his girlfriend Nicci have very different ideas of how things should be run. Can they do enough to turn around the business and get it full in the vital run-up to Christmas?
