JLS stars Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes have revealed that they’re currently teetotal so as to be in peak physical condition for their Soccer Aid match tomorrow.

However, the lads had a good old blow out while in America for Marvin’s stag do recently – he’s marrying The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman later this year – but now they’re back in the UK, they’ve been in training for the match at Old Trafford.

What’s On TV magazine report that Marvin said, “We are very fit. Me and Aston are alcohol-banned, we’re not drinking at all.

“It’s pretty tough – the rest of the lads are drinking in the hotel, but we said no alcohol. We did enough in Vegas and Miami…

“We’re here, fully focused on Sunday and making sure we win and bring the trophy home.”

Marvin and Aston will play alongside a host of stars including Olly Murs and John Bishop for the England team, which is to be captained by Robbie Williams. Their opponents, The Rest of The World team, include actors Will Ferrell and James McAvoy.

They’re joined on the team by Ed Norton, Gerard Butler, Woody Harrelson, as well as Kasabian singer Sergio Pizzorno, former boxer Joe Calzaghe and TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
