If Ireland was voting the result would have been different. I think its not fair for one contestant to have an entire country behind them and for another, Jessie, to be hoping to pick up the scraps of votes from english people. She had a huge disadvantage. Hopefully next year Ireland will be allowed to vote considering the show is so popular here. Big Brother and XFactor have always let Ireland have their say.

Jessie was far better than Jodie. Jodie never did an outstanding performance in the show like many of the other contestants - Jessies Judy Garland number, Rachels Cabaret, Sam the song from wicked. It is a shame that the Oliver audience is only getting to see an average Nancy instead of the best.

Only residends of the UK were able to vote for "Nancy". People living in Southern Ireland were excluded from voting, even though they were able to watch the programme. This tells you everything. We have missed out on the real Nancy. As Cameron said Jessie "YOU are Nancy"

Out of the final two Jessie may well have given the better performance on the night but in my opinion she was not Nancy. I was fortunate enough to see Georgia Brown perform the role onstage and in a way Jodie reminds me of her, not in looks but it's just something about her, I'm not quite sure what. She's warm and bubbly but can show angst and emotion and I think she'll do great in the role. She was the public's choice and it's the public who put their bums on seats so Cameron should take that 'bulldog chewing a wasp' look off his face and accept that sometimes we know best.

As for Rachel, I didn't like her myself, too vain by half, sometimes she acted like the part was already hers, this does not do down well with a lot of the viewing public. She's had far more acting experience having understudied in top London shows, give Jodie that six months to learn and she'll be a better actor than Rachel.

The best NANCY was knocked out in the semi-final. Rachael was the girl for that part. She could outsing either of the two left in the final.

It's a travesty..... Jessie not winning the role of Nancy
is a disaster. You have to believe that the best performer
on the night of the final will take the crown.... Jessie took
it to another level - here performances were extraordinary and
defined exactly what these shows are about - finding raw talent...
diamonds in the rough. Gutted. Someone please cast her so
we can see her in the West End.... Eponine perhaps?
