Josie Gibson – There’s something about Josie – Episode 1 review
Last night saw the start of new reality series, ‘There’s something about Josie’, a documentary style fly on the wall series following Big Brother winner, Josie Gibson.
Big Brother fan or not, you can’t have helped feeling like you already know Josie, the loveable down to earth girl from Bristol and this show is a fabulous reminder of why she won and why the nation fell utterly in love with her.
Episode one see’s Josie and her then boyfriend, John James Parton – also a Big Brother contestant – getting ready for her birthday celebrations, as well as getting on with every day life.
The episode switches from footage of the pair to interviews from all involved, commenting on what we have seen, which makes this programme incredibly easy to follow and enjoy.
Josie comes a cross as such a sweetheart and you just feel like you have known her all your life and that she is one of your close friends.
Obviously, we are all aware now that her and John James have parted company since the show was filmed, which tinges what you are watching slightly. In fairness it mostly makes you dislike John James, despite no evidence of why they split up being present but you just end up loving Josie so much!
If you missed this episode, I encourage you to catch it on Demand 5. Just follow the link!
