Junior PM: Gordon Brown To Launch Reality TV Show?

What on earth is Britain coming to? Things have gotten bad when the Prime Minister of a country has the time to film a reality TV show, but it seems that is exactly what Gordon Brown intends to do.

MP Hazel Blears was papped carrying an email printout which detailed plans for a new TV show, titled Junior PM, in which young aspiring politicians would be judged by no other than PM Gordon Brown.

A spokesman for Blears confirmed that a reality show was in the works: “It is a very worthy programme idea. These young people would engage and have some kind of competition, and then there would be a way of electing a young prime minister for a day.

“The idea is to get more young people interested in politics. But it hasn’t been commissioned yet. It is very early days.”

Now shout if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Gordon Brown have more important things to do than stroke his own ego on a TV show? Shouldn’t he be out there saving our economy from impending recession or something?
