Last night Katie Price reportedly got back with her cross dressing boyfriend, Alex Reid.

Katie sensationally dumped Alex on live TV after she walked out of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity but is said to have taken him back yesterday after he claimed that he ‘couldn’t live without her.’ The cynics among us may wonder if the whole thing was staged in order to make her new ITV2 reality TV show a bit more interesting….but we would never suggest such a thing

The People reports that Katie told one friend: “Me and Alex have sorted things out and I’m so happy.”

“We’ve both realised there were some people out there trying all they could to split us up and make money out of us.

“Alex was a bit naive and realises that now.

But it won’t happen again. I’m going to make sure that I don’t let those same b*****ds wreck things for me and Alex again.”

A friend of Alex’s added: “He’s over the moon. He’s saying Katie’s promised to cook him a massive dinner with roast lamb when he gets back to her house on Sunday.

“He is convinced his relationship with her can now go from strength to strength.”

“When he sat down and pleaded with Katie to take him back the real clincher came when he told her he had borrowed £25,000 from a friend to buy an engagement ring.

“He begged her to understand that he wouldn’t do such a thing if he loved her. She seemed genuinely moved.”
