Katie Price may say that she plans to keep her life with Alex Reid more private, but we don’t think telling the nation that you are having your period fits in with that notion.

During an interview on yesterday’s This Morning Katie told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that she and her husband are trying for a baby but was very definite that she hasn’t conceived this month.

“We are trying for a baby – I can’t wait!” she said. “We will definitely have children. All our family know and are excited for us. But not now, I’m on my period.

“My relationship is 100% right. I don’t need a baby to make it right. I’m completely settled. I get excited to go home, I’ve got no-one telling me what to do.

“I’m 100% myself, I made that mistake before, I changed myself completely for someone. I can just enjoy myself and his company. It’s so different. Mine and Alex’s lives are completely different than what I had before.”
